Email Gets More Pet-Friendly
Send customized talking emails with DOGGIE-MAIL

St. Louis, MO, Jan. XXX, 2007 –

It’s not everyday that you open an email and are serenaded by a Boston terrier in a feather boa. With DOGGIE-MAIL, each email is a chance to add some bark to your day. All dog lovers should know about DOGGIE-MAIL, a new interactive email program with talking dogs available at petcentric.com.

When people log on to petcentric.com, the interactive DOGGIE-MAIL screen invites people to choose one of three dogs and customize the dog’s wardrobe, props and scene. For example, choose from among a variety of scenes, including a red carpet and a dude ranch, wardrobes such as a feather boa and a Santa hat, and props ranging from sunglasses to a funny nose. Then choose a prerecorded message for the dog to speak or type in your own line and choose a voice. Even better, call an 800 number to record your own message in your own voice. Once the email has been customized, send the talking dog message to friends. Dog fans can send as many DOGGIE-MAILs as they like.

Visitors to Petcentric.com can also enter to win one of 25 pooch-friendly prize packages. These packages are full of great items for your pet, including a doggie Murphey bed and John O’Hurley’s new book, It’s Okay to Miss the Bed on the First Jump.

“Dogs bring out a host of emotions in us, not the least of which is humor,” O’Hurley says. “Petcentric.com lets us have some fun, share our doggie messages with our friends, and it’s a great way to get a taste of the book.”

Petcentric.com is a web site about all things pet, including entertaining feature stories (Does Your Pet Dream?), the latest about pets in the news, product and book reviews, a calendar of pet activities and a photo gallery. Visitors can even post pictures of their own pets.
